| General Recommendations |
In general, if you are just starting out, go with a slower set, and a faster set when you get more experience. If you still can't figure out which alginates you'd like to work with, you can order our Half-Pound Sampler Pack. You'll get a half-pound of six of our most popular alginate formulas.
Warmer water will accelerate the setting times shown and colder water will slow the set. See Setting Time Chart. Too hot or too cold can be very uncomfortable for your subject. |
