EZ Hand Casting Kit |
This kit contains everything you'll need to produce a hard stone lifecasting hand cast. You can do one or two adult hands together, an adult and a baby, or up three children's hands- all together in one sculpture.
This is the very same technique used by professional lifecasters who earn their living doing this. "Mix-in-the-Bag" technique makes this procedure easy, with very little cleanup time afterward. Five-minute set alginate for plenty of time.

Alginate Bags |
The easiest and neatest way to mix alginate is in a bag. This is how we recommend mixing in our Hand Casting Kit.
We have put together pre-weighed bags of alginate specifically for doing hand casting in various sized buckets. Bags are 3-mil thick for strength.

Just add water, grab the top of the bag tightly and mix against the table. Since there's no mixing bucket, whisk or jiffy mixer, cleanup is a snap. |

"Buckets" for Hand Casting |

Designed to make hand casting easy, these buckets come in 3 sizes.
Each bucket has a slit cut down the side to help getting the alginate mold out once the LiquiStone has set. Tape up the slit for making the mold, untape it and voila, the alginate pops out. |

Plasticine Clay for Fingernails |

We use this clay to reinforce long fingernails in hand casts. If you triple the thickness of the fingernails with clay the fingernails on the casting will be thicker and less likely to break.
