"Mix-In-The-Bag" Alginates for Hand CastingThe easiest and neatest way to mix alginate is in a bag. This is how we recommend mixing in our Hand Casting Kit. We have put together pre-weighed bags of alginate specifically for doing hand casting in various sized buckets. Bags are 3-mil thick for strength.
Just add water, grab the top of the bag tightly and mix against the table. Since there's no mixing bucket, whisk or jiffy mixer, cleanup is a snap.

LiquiStone |

LiquiStone Gypsum Cement is our casting material of choice. Up to 10 times as h3 as plaster when set, LiquiStone mixes easily with water, pours easily, has a working time of about 15 minutes and sets to an initial working strength in one hour.
